According to the public relations and international affairs report of Qeshm Persian Gulf Biotechnology Park, a meeting was held with the presence of the Deputy Attorney General of the country, the managing director and officials of Qeshm Free Zone Organization and the head of Qeshm Persian Gulf Biotechnology Park.

Dr. Mohammad Sharif Ranjbar, Qeshm Persian Gulf Biotechnology Park president, while expressing the obstacles and problems of technological and knowledge-based companies based in this park, said: Qeshm Island has a very good potential and location for the development of biotechnology due to the high diversity of living organisms.

She said: In the science of biology, there are three very valuable ecosystems of tropical rain forests, coral reefs and mangrove forests in the world, and of these three valuable ecosystems, coral reefs and mangrove forests are also present in Qeshm Island.

He said: "With these two valuable ecosystems, we can produce a wide variety of products in the field of biotechnology."
